This one is somewhat of a bigger longshot but still well worth mentioning and taking into consideration. Girona are by far the most pleasant surprise of the season in all leagues on the planet, having won 15, drawn 3, and lost just 1 of the opening 19 games in the 2023/24 La Liga campaign.
They boast the division’s best attacking record with 46 goals scored in 19 outings and they play beautiful football with three different men with at least five assists so far. The fact they are seven points above third-placed Barcelona after 19 rounds of the season speaks volumes. Can they be the next Leicester City? Serie A – AC Milan to win the title @ 26.00 odds
Serie A has probably been the most interesting of the top five European leagues in recent years as it brought us four different champions in the last four years. However, knowing how unpredictable the Italian top flight has been over the last several years, we don’t expect Simone Inzaghi’s troops to translate such dominance to the second half of the season. Les Parisiens are five points clear at the top of the table after 17 rounds of the competition. That said, the Kylian Mbappe saga may come to an end as we don’t expect one of the best strikers on the planet to stay in the French capital upon the expiration of his contract this summer.
If Kylian decides to leave without compensation, it may force the owners to leave him out of the first team in the second half of the season. Also, Nice are playing very well this year.
